The Market House enjoys a fantastic location right in the center of Glastonbury, with some guests securing rooms boasting amazing views of both Glastonbury Tor and the Abbey. Many appreciated the spacious and comfortable rooms, along with the tea and coffee facilities. squeaking doors needed oiling
The hotel is in a great location and I appreciated the free parking.
My room was very small, labeled as number 1. The bathroom blocked out a lot of light because of where it sat against the outer wall. I found it odd, though the worst was the squeaking doors. I think they need oiling.

loose shower head loud music
I found problems . The shower head was loose. It kept falling off. This made showering very difficult. the music from the bar downstairs was loud. It continued until late and really disrupted sleep. I think there are ways to better soundproof the rooms. the music was louder in the room than in the bar.

unpleasant smell dirty bathroom
The room had a great location in the center..
The room cleanliness was a major issue. There was a noticeable unpleasant smell when I arrived, and the open windows suggested the staff knew about it. The bathroom smelled like old urine, a problem worsened by the open door allowing the smell to permeate the room.
